You were just informed by your family that you will be relocating permanently from your home country to The United States of America, the land of opportunity.  You will be traveling during the 100 or so years between 1820 and 1924.   You will take part in activities to help you remember your homeland and make the transition an easy one.  (You will be referring to the information that you and your parents discussed about your family’s country of origin.)
